The 1st Yeongdeungpo Book Festa "Today Only Book Club" is a representative reading culture brand festival of Yeongdeungpo-gu, planned and organized in collaboration with libraries and centered around Mullae Neighborhood Park, an open green space within the city. This festival is promoted in conjunction with the "Seoul Outdoor Library" brand and aims to richly expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy reading culture through the medium of books and libraries. The event site offers a variety of content, including library booths, a reading zone, book talks, and "Book-numbing" activities. The library booths operate various library contents and experiential programs, while the reading zone provides a self-directed reading space utilizing the park's green environment. Additionally, the event features book talk programs for engaging in discussions with authors and readers, as well as a "Book-numbing" space for enjoying quiet relaxation through books. Ultimately, this event serves as a representative local festival that revitalizes reading culture by combining the spatial elements of an outdoor park with the cultural content of libraries.
