Hadongkwan is one of Seoul's most historic restaurants, open since 1939 in the Myeongdong neighborhood. It specializes in gomtang — a clear, slow-cooked beef bone broth served with rice and thinly sliced beef. The recipe has barely changed in over 80 years, and the no-frills interior reflects that commitment to tradition.
