Tosokchon Samgyetang has been serving its signature ginseng chicken soup since 1983, just a short walk from Gyeongbokgung Palace. A whole young chicken is stuffed with glutinous rice, garlic, jujube, and ginseng, then slow-simmered for hours until the broth turns a rich, milky gold. The restaurant is famous for its long queues β arriving early or late in the afternoon helps avoid the worst of the wait β but regulars say the soup is absolutely worth it.
