The Ulan Foundation for Culture’s second textile exhibition, *Texture of Rest*, offers modern people—who are losing their sense of self amidst a flood of information and relationships—a time to "weave" their scattered selves again, using the inherent physical properties of textiles, namely "connection" and "endurance," as a medium. In this exhibition, textiles transcend mere objects of appreciation to present a "living journey of healing" that crosses the threshold of our inner selves, honestly penetrates the abyss of pain, and leads toward true peace. This suggests that true peace can only be found when we confront pain rather than turn away from it. It is an exhibition where one can momentarily turn off external noise, engage in an intense dialogue with one's inner self, and experience the purified texture of rest that can finally be reached.
