About this event

This is a special cultural event held to commemorate the hosting of the 48th UNESCO World Heritage Committee meeting in Busan, showcasing Korea's World Heritage, Intangible Heritage, and Memory of the World in one place. To be held at BEXCO in Busan in July 2026, the event will present a diverse range of programs planned based on the "value of Korean heritage recognized by the world." The exhibition space is set to offer visitors an immersive experience, starting with a theme pavilion introducing Korea's 17 World Heritage sites, followed by exhibitions on Memory of the World, media art exhibitions on national heritage, and visitor campaign experiences. In addition, on-site programs include the Changing of the Guard ceremony, which recreates the dignity of the Joseon Dynasty, and performances and demonstrations of Intangible Heritage where visitors can directly feel the spirit of artisans. The event is also prepared to welcome visitors from around the world with rich content that allows them to experience national heritage in a more approachable way, such as the "K-Goods Shop," where visitors can find traditional souvenirs with stylish designs.
