About this event

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will host the 4th "2026 Seoul Hanok Week" for ten days from October 2 (Fri) to October 11 (Sun) in the Bukchon and Seochon areas. "Seoul Hanok Week" is a multi-cultural event featuring exhibitions, lectures/tours, hands-on activities, performances, and events that allow visitors to experience Seoul's Hanok in diverse ways, in collaboration with Hanok-related institutions, organizations, and residents. The event will take place in the Bukchon and Seochon areas as well as at Seoul's public Hanoks, and information is available through the Seoul Hanok Portal and social media. This year, a new program featuring a "K-Living" exhibition in collaboration with brands will be launched to showcase daily life in Seoul's Hanok. Furthermore, the festival plans to expand its scope by operating various programs throughout the Hanok villages in cooperation with relevant organizations, including linking with "Bukchon Day," Bukchon's representative local cultural festival. Capturing the new image of Hanok expanding beyond tourism into everyday spaces, ‘2026 Seoul Hanok Week’ presents a variety of programs, including exhibitions, performances, and docent tours, under the theme of ‘Seoul Hanok Daily Life’ to allow visitors to experience the spaces and charms of Hanok.
