The side programs of the 2026 Korea Maritime Mobility & Safety Expo are experiential programs designed to allow visitors to easily and enjoyably experience the importance of maritime safety. Operating various maritime safety experiences and participatory content in the area around Busan Port North Harbor Waterfront Park, these programs provide citizens and tourists visiting the Expo with opportunities to increase their interest in and understanding of maritime safety. The programs are designed for easy participation by anyone, including a "My Own Marine Photo Zone" utilizing AI technology, a "Life Vest OOTD Runway" where visitors can personalize and try on life vests, CPR training, and a Coast Guard uniform try-on experience. In addition, visitors can operate a vessel themselves through a ship steering simulation and virtually experience various maritime safety scenarios, such as maritime fall accidents and passenger ship emergencies, at the Marine VR Experience Hall. Programs are also available to teach the proper use of actual life-saving equipment, such as life vests and life rafts, and to naturally learn safety rules through maritime safety quizzes. A stamp tour linking the BPEX exhibition hall with various contents at North Harbor Waterfront Park is also being operated. This program allows you to experience the Expo's key content all at once by exploring future ships, autonomous navigation technology, eco-friendly marine technology, and maritime safety and AI technology, as well as participating in hands-on activities. It is a special venue for encountering future marine technology and experiencing maritime safety firsthand.
