The Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge is an urban craft beer festival designed to promote Busan's craft beer culture and revitalize the local economy by fostering interaction between various breweries from across the country and consumers. It brings together unique craft beers from around the nation and representative local breweries from Busan to showcase a diverse range of beers, allowing participants to taste a variety of beers firsthand and experience the charm of craft beer. The core program of the festival is the "Masters Challenge," which determines the best craft beer. Through evaluations by a panel of professional judges, breweries compete against each other based on their skills and the quality of their beers. This competition, which extends from the preliminaries through the semifinals and finals, adds tension and excitement to the festival. Additionally, the festival features content designed for easy and fun participation, including a beer market where visitors can find signature beers from each brewery, hands-on experience programs for hops and malt, and activities such as making your own beer and DIY beer glasses. Furthermore, the festival is characterized by continuous enjoyment from day to night, enhanced by a variety of food options, beer pairings, busking and DJ performances, and audience participation events. In particular, during the evening, this event provides a space where visitors can freely mingle and enjoy the festive atmosphere through Beer Night, where music and beer blend together. The Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge is more than just a beer-drinking festival; it is a representative beer culture festival that offers a fresh experience of Busan's craft beer culture through the processes of tasting, experiencing, competing, and enjoying.
