"Changgyeonggung Night Banquet" is a family-friendly nighttime royal banquet program that offers a modern reinterpretation of the banquet held by Crown Prince Hyomyeong to his father, King Sunjo, as an expression of his profound filial piety. Participants dress in traditional court attire as civil and military officials or members of the outer court during the Joseon Dynasty to attend the banquet. Together with their accompanying families, they can enjoy royal pastries, watch traditional performances, and participate in various traditional experience programs. In 2026, the event will run for a total of 20 days: the first half from May 7 (Thu) to May 17 (Sun) and the second half from September 24 (Thu) to October 4 (Sun). During the Parents' Day and Chuseok holidays, you can create beautiful memories with your beloved family while strolling through the palace at night.

Paid Participants: Become civil and military officials and court ladies of the Joseon Dynasty to participate in a royal banquet. - Viewing the royal banquet, wearing royal attire, makeup, experiencing royal confectionery, filial piety experience, photography (solo/family), etc. 2. Accompanying Family Members: Participate in the banquet and experience programs alongside paid participants. - Viewing the royal banquet, experiencing royal confectionery, writing letters to parents, filial piety experience, family photo and video recording, etc. 3. On-site Visitors (Free): View the reenactment of the Joseon Dynasty royal banquet from a modern perspective and participate in accompanying events. - Viewing the royal banquet (first-come, first-served/limited seating), access to select filial piety experiences and photo zones.
