Yangjae Flower Festa

The 2026 Yangjae Flower Festa is a floral culture festival held from October 16 to October 18, 2026, in the area surrounding the Yangjae Flower Market. The event is comprised of exhibitions, hands-on activities, stage programs, and participatory events designed to allow visitors to directly view and experience a variety of flowers and floral content. Key programs include a new variety showcase introducing new cultivars such as roses, spray chrysanthemums, gerberas, lisianthus, and phalaenopsis orchids; an exhibition of florist works; one-day classes utilizing flowers; career experiences as children's florists and horticultural therapists; a children's flower painting program; and a flower talk concert. Additionally, the festival features the "Ugly Flowers Are Wonderful" experience program, where participants create pressed flower items using flowers that would otherwise be discarded due to low marketability; a stamp tour that involves exploring various parts of the venue; and social media participation events. The event is structured to allow visitors of all generations to appreciate flowers, participate in hands-on activities, and engage with floral culture.
