The Heo Jun Festival is held annually during the second week of October in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, where Heo Jun was born and authored the *Donguibogam*. The festival aims to honor Heo Jun's benevolent spirit and the *Donguibogam*, considered the greatest medical text in the East. The festival first began in 1999 centered around Heogabawi Rock, where the *Donguibogam* was written. In 2023, the venue was relocated to the Seoul Botanic Garden to introduce a new concept and diverse programs embodying the festival's identity, thereby promoting Heo Jun and Gangseo to a wider audience and ensuring everyone could safely enjoy the event. As Gangseo-gu's representative medical health and culture festival, the Heo Jun Festival offers a variety of cultural experiences, including medical health experience centers developed in collaboration with medical institutions, special exhibitions on Heo Jun and the *Donguibogam*, the Heo Jun Concert, the Heo Jun Music Concert, the Heo Jun Parade, and the Heo Jun Kids Jangwon Competition.
