About this event

Started in 1998 in Daehak-ro under the name "Independent Arts Festival," the Seoul Fringe Festival is an annual summer celebration that brings together theater, dance, music, performance, video, visual arts, exhibitions, and diverse artistic experiments that cannot be defined by a single genre. It conducts no judging of artists or evaluations of works. Believing that "anyone can be an artist," it opens the door to participation for everyone. It supports and encourages artists to express the stories they wish to tell and to experiment in any space, whether on a stage or in a park. Through the courage to reveal oneself, the experimentation that transcends genre boundaries, and the process of sharing responsibility and respect, we create true artistic freedom. This year, under the slogan "We Are Together," we seek to discover new ways of connection that are needed in our present moment.

- Period: August 6–August 23 - Venues: Neoul Neoul, Riri Land, Mijin Floor by Hwang Chun Entertainment, Seobo Art Space, Studio MAS, Onsu Space, Yuyoung Space, Palgeori, Platform Dal - Main Programs: Artist presentations / Works by 115 teams in theater, dance, music, performance, video, visual arts, exhibitions, etc. - Admission ranges from general admission to ages 19 and older; ticket prices range from free to 70,000 KRW, with age and pricing determined directly by the artists. - Period: August 6–August 23 - Venues: Artists voluntarily discover spaces suitable for their works; 19 venues - Main Programs: Artist presentations / Works by 21 teams in theater, dance, music, performance, video, visual arts, exhibitions, etc. - For details, please refer to the Seoul Fringe Festival website. - Period: August 15–August 16 - Venue: Seoul Theatre Creation Center - Main Programs: Relay works by 14 teams Announcement - Open to all ages up to 18+ / Pay-after-service - Period: August 7–22, 21:00–23:00, Closed every Monday - Venue: Café Schitzprobe, 2nd Floor - Main Program: Thematic talks following the daily festival program - Free admission for all
