*The festival details below are from the previous year (2025), and the details for 2026 are currently being updated.* It is the first and most prestigious Red Color Festival in Korea, with a deep history that began with the 1st festival in 2007 featuring Hanwoo beef and apples as its central themes and reached its 19th edition in 2025. In particular, starting from 2024, the festival expanded its product range beyond individual agricultural specialties like Hanwoo beef and apples to include Jangsu Red Foods (Hanwoo beef, apples, Omija, and tomatoes), and broadened the scope of the festival into processed products such as apple beer, apple soju, apple bread, and Omija wine. By expanding its scope from the first Red Color Festival to the first Red Food Festival, it is elevating its status as a major cultural tourism festival of Korea.
