About this event

An unexpected encounter with Jeonju folklore on the streets. This performance is overflowing with the splendid dragon flag performance of Jeonju Gijeopnori, the symbol of Jeonju, and Pungmulnori. You can fully enjoy humorous short outdoor plays, the giant dragon flag Jeonju Gijeopnori performance, Pungmul performances, and traditional acrobatics. Furthermore, it is a performance where you can learn 'Mandure Sori,' a Jeonju oral labor song, right on the spot.

Event Program

1. Parade Departure / Starting from Namcheongyo Bridge - A vigorous march led by a large dragon flag and accompanied by traditional folk music; anyone is welcome to join the procession. 2. Humorous Performances - Colorful traditional street performances unfolding throughout the parade, featuring Madangnori (outdoor folk plays) and traditional performing arts where the audience participates in the "Old Dure Olympics" to complete the performance together. 3. Becoming One in the Closing Daedongnori / Daedongnori in Front of Gyeonggijeon - Dragon flag performance and traditional performing arts of Jeonju Gijeopnori, a representative performance of Jeonju.
