Geumsan World Ginseng Festival

*The festival details below are for the previous year (2025), and the details for 2026 are currently being updated.* The Geumsan Ginseng Festival is held annually in Geumsan, Chungnam, the birthplace of Goryeo ginseng boasting a history of over 1,500 years. Visitors can experience ginseng harvesting, visit health experience halls, and participate in the International Ginseng Trade Fair where processed ginseng products can be purchased at affordable prices. The festival also features traditional ginseng cultural experiences and family-friendly future content that combines ginseng with robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The Geumsan Ginseng Festival has been selected as the Best Festival in the Nation 10 times by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and has been designated as an Honorary Cultural Tourism Festival.
