Hongseong Namdang Port Shrimp Festival

The 31st Hongseong Namdang Port Shrimp Festival is Hongseong's representative autumn food festival, where visitors can enjoy the pristine waters of Cheonsuman Bay and fresh, seasonal shrimp. Held at Namdang Port, a leading gourmet tourist destination on the West Coast, this festival offers visitors the chance to taste plump, seasonal shrimp while enjoying various performances and entertainment alongside the port's beautiful sea scenery. The 2026 festival will take place in the Namdang Port area from September 4 to November 8, with opening performances held from September 4 to 6 and Chuseok performances scheduled from September 25 to 26. A diverse lineup of performers, including Bin Yeso, Park Hyun-bin, Jang Do-hyun, Yoo Do-hyun, Kim Jung-ah, and Kim Seo-yeon, will participate in the opening and Chuseok performances to add to the excitement of the festival. Namdang Port is a representative tourist destination in Cheonsuman Bay, rich in various marine products including large prawns and gizzard shad. During the festival, visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and local delicacies while admiring the beautiful sunset over the West Sea.
