Korean Confucian Culture Festival

The 2026 Korea Confucian Culture Festival is a Confucian culture festival hosted by Chungcheongnam-do and Nonsan-si and organized by the Korea Institute of Confucian Culture. Under the theme "Loyalty, Filial Piety, and Propriety: Becoming My Daily Life," the event connects the core values of traditional Confucianism with the daily lives of modern people through performance, exhibition, experience, education, and academic programs. Held from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the Korea Institute of Confucian Culture and the Noseong-myeon area of Nonsan-si, the festival features an opening ceremony, a provincial provincial declaration of the Chungcheong Spirit, a humanities book concert, the K-Confucian International Forum, performances and exhibitions, and participatory competitions and experience programs for families and youth. Designed to allow participation from diverse generations and social strata—including children, families, youth, young adults, foreigners, and local residents—the festival aims to foster a new understanding and sharing of traditional values within today's lives through programs that allow for the simultaneous experience of local Confucian cultural assets and lifestyle culture.
