Cheonan Book Festival

The Book Festival is Cheonan City Library's representative book festival, blending reading, hands-on experiences, and play, and is organized in collaboration with reading-related institutions such as libraries, clubs, bookstores, and publishers. It operates as a reading culture event that the entire citizen can enjoy, featuring author meet-and-greets, performances, experience booths, side events, and an outdoor library. This year's event will be held at the Sunken Plaza of Cheonan Samgeori Park, featuring an opening ceremony, an awards ceremony for avid readers, a family musical, and an ensemble performance. At the outdoor library, visitors can relax and read books under the autumn sunshine. Meetings with author Han So-gon of *Gochujang Errand*, selected as the 2026 Cheonan City Book of the Year, and author Lee Seo-soo of *Let's Dance Still* will also be held. Additionally, visitors can experience various reading activities at 16 experience booths and 13 bookstore and publisher booths. Admission is free.
