The Wangsaeng-ro Light Street Festival is a nighttime cultural and commercial revitalization festival held for two days from October 3rd to 4th in the area around Wangsaeng-ro Culture Park in Nam-gu, Ulsan. Its core objective is to revitalize the local economy by creating a distinctive nightscape in a high-traffic urban area to provide citizens with opportunities to enjoy culture and by attracting visitors to nearby commercial districts. On-site, the nightscape is established using high-quality light displays such as media facades, street tree light shows, laser fireflies, and large mirror balls. Furthermore, the festival maximizes crowd attraction by continuously staging diverse performances, including stages by invited singers like Min Kyung-hoon and So Hyang, as well as DJs, busking, and street theater. In addition, the project is designed to extend visitors' time spent at the site and naturally lead to spending in nearby shopping districts by operating stay-type side events such as food zones, beer parks, flea markets, and experiential programs.
