*The festival details below are for the previous year (2025); the details for 2026 are currently being updated.* The Gimcheon Gimbap Festival is a regional cultural tourism festival held in Gimcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Although gimbap is not Gimcheon's representative specialty, the event is planned based on the region's symbolic image of "Gimbap Heaven Gimcheon." The festival is operated around hands-on experiences, exhibitions, performances, and play content centered on gimbap, designed for both Gimcheon citizens and tourists to enjoy together. Experience programs for making and tasting gimbap are provided, and performance and experience zones are set up for participation by people of all generations.
