Ground Forces Festival

The 2026 Ground Forces Festival is the Republic of Korea's largest military culture festival hosted by the Army. As a non-profit event with public interest purposes—such as promoting the Army's development and future policies to the public, enhancing trust in the military, and spreading positive values—it will be held for five days from October 1 (Thu) to October 5 (Mon) at the Gyeryongdae Air Base runway in South Chungcheong Province. Marking its 22nd anniversary this year, the 2026 Ground Forces Festival, under the theme "The Republic of Korea Army Protecting the Daily Lives of the People," will feature exhibitions and ride experiences of the latest ROK-U.S. combat equipment, as well as demonstrations of Army TIGER+ and dronebots. Visitors can also directly experience AI and cutting-edge science and technology-based combat systems and the diverse aspects of the evolving Army through demonstrations, exhibitions, and hands-on activities at the Army Policy Promotion Hall. Furthermore, a variety of high-quality military cultural performances will be available, including military band and honor guard performances, Taekwondo demonstrations, military police MC maneuver demonstrations, Army performance teams, and road parades.
