Suseongmot Festival

The Suseongmot Festival is a celebration that offers artistic experiences to citizens against the backdrop of Suseongmot, the most beloved spot for Daegu residents. It was selected as the number one festival for two consecutive years in the 'Daegu Metropolitan City Excellent Regional Festival Evaluation' in 2019 and 2020. It is one of the projects that represents the identity of the Suseong Cultural Foundation. This year, the festival features official invited performances ranging from the K-Arts Fantasy, which captures the essence of Korean traditional orchestral music and song, dance, and music, to the Water Concert, the Water Ball 'Pa (Wave),' and street art performances, as well as the Suseong Happiness Concert, a large-scale choral performance involving citizens and artists. In addition, visitors can watch performances by citizens at the National Youth Dance Competition, the Suseong-gu Elementary and Middle School Music Harmony Festival, and the Intangible Heritage Festival, and participate in on-site experience programs such as the Drawing Contest and the Deurangil K-Food Festival. Music fireworks shows take place at the beginning and end of the festival.
