Museom Village is a traditional village whose name is derived from the Korean word for "water eagle," signifying an island floating on water. The Museom One-Log Bridge Festival takes place in October amidst a distinctive landscape where the clear waters of the Naeseongcheon River encircling the village harmonize with silver sandy beaches. Visitors can enjoy reenactments of traditional wedding and funeral processions that capture the life and sorrows of the villagers, reflecting the saying, "Coming to the village in a palanquin and leaving in a funeral bier upon death." Along with these events, visitors can enjoy the Museom One-Log Bridge performance and barefoot walking on the sandy beach. In addition, a variety of supplementary programs, such as a street parade and a Museom Healing Rope Experience, are prepared to add to the festive atmosphere. Visitors can also create special memories through participatory activities such as a classical Chinese poetry contest, a nationwide photography competition, and a stamp tour.
