About this event

The 38th Chuncheon World Puppet Festival is the largest puppet festival in Asia. Top artists and puppet troupes from around the world participate in the festival, and puppet performances, large-scale parades, and art markets are scheduled to take place throughout Chuncheon, centered around the Chuncheon Puppet Theater. In addition to performances, a variety of programs including hands-on experiences, exhibitions, and workshops are held to promote and develop the genre of puppetry. It is establishing itself as a venue for international exchange where one can survey the trends of the global puppetry world, as well as a cultural and artistic festival that encompasses all generations.
