Donggangdumchit

Donggang Doomchit is a nature-based lifestyle festival held at the Donggang riverside to celebrate Yeongwol County Youth Day in 2026, bringing together Yeongwol youth and local brands. The Donggang Garden offers a time to read and relax in nature, while the Youth Market provides an opportunity to discover Yeongwol youth brands and lifestyle products. The Donggang Gourmet Club introduces food and beverages utilizing Yeongwol's natural ingredients and local produce, and Keungol Radio operates a program that connects Yeongwol's radio culture with local stories through personal narratives, interviews, and music. The event features participatory programs such as eco-friendly birdwatching, mindfulness activities, hula dance, and caricatures, as well as performances by Byun Sun-hee, Seoul Bossa Society, So What Nola, Yozo, The Ade, Soran, and Jazz Forest. Through a flow of reading, selecting, eating, resting, listening, and dancing, the festival structures Yeongwol's nature, youth, culture, and food into a single one-day experience.
