About this event

This festival links tourism with the rich Catholic cultural heritage possessed by Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk. Based on the concept of spending a Holiday in a Holy place, it is held centered around Waegwan Monastery, which is imbued with the history and spirit of Catholicism. It features the Cathedral of Light and the Forest of Dreams, and offers a variety of performances including a talk concert with Father MZ (Lee Chang-min), a Holy Concert (Tei, Ahn Ye-eun), busking performances, Gregorian chant performances, and pipe organ performances. Additionally, diverse and unique experiential programs with an atmosphere reminiscent of medieval Europe are prepared, such as Mass at the Cathedral of Light, a monastery tour with monks, and a retreat experience.
