Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival

The Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival is an autumn festival themed around the auspicious energy of "Sotbawi," a representative landmark of Uiryeong. Located in the middle of the Namgang River, Sotbawi has long been associated with a legend stating that "great wealthy individuals are born within a radius of 20 ri (approximately 8 kilometers) centered around the rock." Indeed, the birthplace of the founders of Samsung, LG, and Hyosung in this area has made the legend of wealth associated with Sotbawi an even more special story. Uiryeong County has been hosting the Rich Rich Festival since 2022 to share these unique local stories and positive energy with tourists. Marking its 5th anniversary this year, the festival features a variety of hands-on experiences, performances, and family programs where visitors can directly feel and enjoy the wealthy energy of Sotbawi.
