Yeongdeok National Heritage Night Tour

The 2026 Yeongdeok National Heritage Night Tour is a nighttime historical and cultural festival held for three days from August 21 to 23, 2026, under the subtitle "Yeonghae 1926, Strolling Through That Night." It takes place in the Modern History and Culture Space of Yeonghae Market Street in Yeonghae-myeon, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Yeonghae Market Street is a National Registered Cultural Heritage site at the township level, a unique feature found in only six regions nationwide. The Night Tour held here is an immersive cultural event that recreates the scenery of Yeonghae from 100 years ago throughout the alleys, allowing visitors to experience history firsthand by walking through them. Set against the backdrop of the year 1926, the night streets are filled with diverse content, including outdoor musicals, modern costume parades, rickshaws, silent films, and performances of traditional intangible heritage. A total of 40 programs are operated daily from 7 PM to 11 PM under eight themes: Night View, Night Walk, Night History, Night Flower, Night Story, Night Food, Night Stay, and Night Market, and all events are free to attend.
