Incheon Reading Festival

The 2026 Incheon Reading Festival is Incheon's representative book culture festival that warmly connects people's hearts through the medium of books. Held under the slogan "Read Incheon, Connect Hearts," this event will take place at the Incheon Art Platform for two days, from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, September 20, 2026. Starting with an exciting opening ceremony, the main stage at the Incheon Art Platform Outdoor Plaza will add vibrancy to the festival with picture book performances that stimulate the five senses and emotional busking. Throughout the outdoor plaza, a variety of attractions have been prepared, including a book market where local bookstores and publishers introduce hidden gems, a sentimental photo zone, and "BOOK Escape," which offers a delightful immersive experience. Furthermore, indoor spaces will provide a venue for rich discourse through author meet-and-greets, book chats, lectures by local authors, as well as in-depth reading discussions and forums. Finally, the exhibition halls will feature special exhibitions and experiential programs prepared by libraries and related organizations, promising to offer visiting citizens a deep cultural resonance and lasting memories.
