The 2026 National Heritage Night Tour is an event utilizing national heritage (formerly cultural properties) held at the Historic Site 'Gimje-gun Gwan-a and Hyanggyo' in the Gyo-dong area of Gimje-si. By operating programs that utilize the administrative (Gwan-a) and educational (Hyanggyo) institutions of the Joseon Dynasty, the event aims to raise public interest in national heritage and provide opportunities for citizens to enjoy culture. It features an "8 Nights" program that reinterprets the history and stories of national heritage through performances, experiences, exhibitions, and nightscapes. Diverse content has been prepared, including the 'Gimje Magistrate Procession,' traditional culture experiences, historical commentary, night performances, and programs linked to traditional markets. By connecting spaces to allow visitors to enjoy both the national heritage and the nightscape of the old city center, the event enhances attractions and stay-type tourism content. Furthermore, it promotes a night cultural tourism event that fosters local economic revitalization and spreads the value of national heritage through the participation of local merchants and cultural artists.
