About this event

The 2026 Inje Autumn Flower Festival commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet Park In-hwan, a leading figure of Korean Modernist poetry, adding a special touch by creating a distinctive garden where literary sensibility harmonizes with vibrant autumn flowers. The festival's greatest feature is the opportunity to appreciate colorful autumn flowers and experience a lingering literary resonance within a space that reinterprets the poet's romance in a modern way. The festival grounds are diversely organized with themed pathways. It is perfect for a leisurely autumn stroll, starting with the Park In-hwan Romantic Garden, Flower Rest Area, and Fortune Observatory on the "Path to Happiness"; continuing to the Wildflower Garden and Chrysanthemum Bonsai Exhibition on the "Path to Love"; and finally to the cozy waterside promenade and Slow Mailbox on the "Path to Communication." On the "Path to Healing," visitors can walk through the Forest Cafe and Writers' & Community Gardens, and enjoy nature-based experiential programs such as tree climbing, treehouses, a children's forest, and bookmark making. A rich array of food and entertainment options have also been prepared, with the 'Well-being Market' featuring sales of local agricultural products and chrysanthemums, various craft activities, food trucks, and lively performances. In addition, abundant events such as a flower path stamp tour, drawing contest, and rock-paper-scissors competition are added to offer the perfect autumn outing. Basic admission is free, while some experience programs are available for a fee.
