Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo

The Gyeongnam Goseong World Dinosaur Expo is a dinosaur-themed festival held at the Danghangpo Tourist Complex in Hoehwa-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. Goseong-gun is widely known as one of the world's top three sources of dinosaur footprint fossils; the event has been held annually since 2006 to promote the value of large and small dinosaur fossils discovered across the region and to boost the tourism industry. The venue, Danghangpo Tourist Complex, consists of a Dinosaur Theme Zone and an Admiral Yi Sun-sin Theme Zone, and features outdoor theme parks including coastal walking paths, hiking trails, and a dinosaur footprint exploration trail. The event is hosted by Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and as of 2026, the Gyeongnam Goseong World Dinosaur Expo is operated by the Goseong Culture and Tourism Foundation. The 2026 Expo marks the 10th edition and the 20th anniversary, and will be held under the theme "An Exciting Adventure with Dinosaurs." Furthermore, through diverse exhibitions, hands-on programs, and performances at each event, it has established itself as a leading dinosaur-themed festival in Korea.
