About this event

The 67th Korean Folk Arts Festival will take place in Pyeongchang, nestled amidst beautiful natural landscapes, aiming to elevate the value of our traditional culture and arts. The Korean Folk Arts Festival is the longest-running festival, having continued since 1958 to discover and preserve regional folk arts for the purpose of their preservation and transmission. By hosting this festival, which boasts a 67-year history, in Pyeongchang—the host city of the Winter Olympics—the festival seeks to enhance Pyeongchang's brand value as a cultural tourism hub and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy. It is a festival where visitors can enjoy a grand feast of our traditional folk arts culture amidst the magnificent natural beauty of Pyeongchang.
