2026 Wonju Dancing Carnival

The 2026 Wonju Dancing Carnival is a global K-dancing festival created by citizens and participating domestic and international teams, centering on various dances and performances, including K-POP. Through competitions in diverse fields such as K-Street, Children & Youth Street, Senior Dance, Recreational Dance, Eup/Myeon/Dong, Performance, and Free Dance, the festival provides a venue where everyone, transcending generations and borders, can communicate and enjoy dance. In addition, it operates various side programs including cultural and artistic performances for all generations to enjoy, a Fringe Festival featuring amateur artists and invited professional teams, as well as food booths, food trucks, and a flea market. With the slogan "A Dancing City, A Festival to Stay," the festival aims to transform Wonju into a vibrant festival city where dance and culture come alive, promoting the revitalization of local culture and arts and the globalization of the festival based on the voluntary participation of citizens and domestic and international exchanges. The 2026 Wonju Dancing Carnival will be held for three days from September 18 to 20 at the Dancing Performance Hall.
