*The festival food details below are from the previous year (2025); the details for 2026 are currently being updated.* The 30th Bupyeong Pungmul Festival is a venue of 30 years of joy and harmony resonating within the city center. As a traditional culture and arts festival representing not only Incheon but also Korea, the Bupyeong Pungmul Festival has now reached its meaningful 30th anniversary. Since taking its first steps in 1997, the festival has grown into a massive arena of communication where citizens and artists become one, breathing our unique traditional rhythms into the desolate heart of the city. The exhilarating rhythms created by the 22 Dong Pungmul troupes, which are the core of the festival, have served as a solid foundation connecting all district residents as one. In particular, the 30th festival, which will be held for three days from October 2 to 4, 2026, will take place on a grander and more spectacular scale than ever before, carrying special significance in reflecting on the traditions of the past 30 years and celebrating the new future ahead. Furthermore, the festival space will be expanded to include the Gulpocheon area, a symbol of Bupyeong's urban regeneration, to showcase new and diverse content.
