About
Manghyang is a noodle chain built around bibim guksu, thick wheat noodles tossed in a cold, sharply spicy chilli sauce and topped with pickled onion, cucumber, and a perilla leaf. The balance is hot, sweet, and sour at once. What regulars go back for as much as the noodles is the free hot broth station: a savoury clear broth, poured by the cup, drunk before and between mouthfuls of the cold spicy noodles. Steamed mandu is the standard side, dipped into the leftover sauce.
