Uga is a high-end barbecue restaurant in the Cheongdam area serving dry-aged Hanwoo beef. Ageing concentrates the flavour and softens the texture, and the ribeye is portioned and finished at the table with a blowtorch rather than left to the diner. The other dish it is known for is yukhoe bibimbap, seasoned raw beef torched in the stone bowl in front of you. There are private rooms, staff grill and carve for the table, and booking ahead is expected.
