Skewers from Dong Bei Skewers

Street FoodFeatured by πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Strictly Dumpling

About

Dong Bei Skewers grills yangkkochi, the cumin-dusted lamb skewers of northeastern China. Cubes of lamb are rolled in cumin, chilli flakes, and sesame, and the tables have motorised grills that turn the skewers over the charcoal on their own so the fat renders evenly. The room is loud and smells of toasted spice. Skewers are usually ordered with Tsingtao, and the kitchen also does guobaorou, the sweet and sour fried pork, and stir-fried eggplant.
