Myeongjin Jeonbok sits on Jeju's northeastern coast in Gujwa-eup and is one of the island's best known abalone restaurants. Its signature dish is jeonbok dolsotbap, rice cooked in a stone pot with abalone entrails and topped with sliced abalone, sweet potato, and pumpkin. The abalone comes from a farm next door, so it is never frozen, and every table order also comes with a grilled mackerel. Queues are normal at peak hours, and the restaurant closes on Tuesdays.
