The Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival is a comprehensive cultural and artistic festival that interprets the most brilliant records of King Jeongjo's eight-day royal procession to Hwaseong in 1795 with a modern sensibility. Historical moments from the *Wonhaeng Eulmyo Jeongni Uigwe* come vividly to life through high-quality content, offering a special experience through the "King Jeongjo Royal Procession," the nation's largest royal parade where citizens and people from around the world become the protagonists. As a representative global festival, you can encounter the joy of a festival that transcends time and space at Suwon Hwaseong, a venue of harmony where people from all over the world communicate.

Experience/Participation Programs: Citizen Dohwaseo, Byeolsinal, Yangroyeon, Suwon Gama Race, New Nakseongyeon [Masquerade Ball], Fortress Construction Playground, etc. 3. Global Village: Lounge for foreigners only, traditional games and snack experience - King Jeongjo's Royal Procession: (October 4, 2026 (Sun)) Based on the documentary heritage "Wonhaeng Eulmyo Jeongni Uigwe," the Royal Procession of King Jeongjo, also known as the "Eulmyo Year Hwaseong Wonhaeng," is the largest royal parade in Korea that recreates the large-scale royal procession conducted by King Jeongjo for a total of eight days from the 9th to the 16th of the intercalary second month of the Eulmyo year (1795) to commemorate the 60th birthday of his mother, Lady Hyegyeong. There are no food booths within the festival grounds, so please use restaurants in the nearby area.
