Boeun Jujube Festival

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the Boeun Jujube Festival is Korea's representative festival for agricultural products, where visitors can find premium Boeun jujubes—Boeun's signature specialty—and other agricultural products produced in the region's pristine natural environment all in one place. Recognized for its outstanding operational performance, the 2025 Boeun Jujube Festival was selected as the Best Festival Designated by Chungcheongbuk-do for 2026. Furthermore, it has been recognized for its nationwide competitiveness, having been selected as the Best Festival for Promoting Sales of Agricultural Products in Chungcheongbuk-do for three consecutive years, following 2017. The festival is also establishing itself as the representative event of Boeun by widely promoting the history of Boeun jujubes, which were once presented as tribute to the King, as well as their superior quality. During the festival, sales booths for jujubes and agricultural products, as well as an online marketplace and a fresh jujube order call center, are operated to support the convenient purchase of Boeun's agricultural products from anywhere in the country. In addition, the festival is designed to provide visitors with a wealth of sights and entertainment through various cultural and artistic performances and hands-on programs, including the opening and closing ceremonies, allowing everyone from families to people of all ages to fully enjoy the autumn atmosphere of Boeun. Furthermore, through diverse programs linking agriculture, culture, and tourism, it plans to operate as a representative festival that not only promotes the excellence of local agricultural products and attracts tourists to revitalize the local economy, but also elevates the brand value of Boeun's autumn tourism.
