Fortress City in the Forest - Namhansanseong Autumn Festa

About this event

The 2026 Forest Fortress City - Namhansanseong Autumn Festa is an experiential program designed to allow citizens to share in the value of the World Heritage site, taking place throughout the Namhansanseong area. Visitors can reflect on the historical value and beauty of Namhansanseong throughout the fortress, and a variety of programs including hands-on experiences, performances, and tours are prepared. The program consists of four components: <Traditional Culture Experience>, where visitors encounter the fortress's history and traditions through hands-on activities; <Eco-History Camp>, where participants learn about the fortress's ecology through commentary and nature-based activities; <Namhansanseong Yeonhee Hanmadang>, adding excitement with theater and traditional Korean music performances; and the <Chuseok Special Program>, which illuminates Namhansanseong with light and music during the Chuseok holiday. Visitors can experience the value and charm of the World Heritage site Namhansanseong up close.
