2026 Namdo K-Garden Festival

The 2026 Namdo K-Garden Festival is a night garden festival held in the area of Yeomun Culture Street and Yeoseomi Plaza in Yeosu. The festival's theme is "Yeosu Night Garden Embracing the Islands," and the event will run for a total of 51 days, from September 11 to October 31, 2026. The festival aims to utilize the spatial characteristics of the old city center through content that links gardens with nightscapes, and to provide citizens and tourists with opportunities to enjoy garden culture. Approximately 40 gardens, including representative gardens, artist gardens, and citizen participation gardens, will be created at the venue. The space will be operated as a venue accessible for viewing both day and night through diverse planting and landscape staging. At night, lighting effects will be applied to emphasize the garden scenery and provide a viewing environment linked to Yeosu's night tourism resources. During the event, various content such as garden commentary programs, cultural performances, hands-on experience programs, and citizen participation programs will be offered, along with programs linked to local commercial districts and tourism resources. The 2026 Namdo K-Garden Festival is an event designed to promote the spread of garden culture and revitalize the old city center, as well as to establish the foundation for Yeosu as a garden city. Its goal is to promote the sustainable spread of garden culture by utilizing local cultural and tourism resources through a garden festival that citizens and tourists can participate in and enjoy together.
