About this event
The Gwangju Busking World Cup is an international street performance music festival held in the Chungjang-ro area of Dong-gu, Gwangju. This competition-style festival features domestic and international street artists showcasing diverse musical performances, offering a variety of genres including vocals, bands, acoustic music, and performance art. Participating teams advance through preliminary and main rounds to determine the final winner in the finals, with winners selected through evaluation by a panel of professional judges. Held across various locations throughout downtown Gwangju, this international cultural event aims to promote arts and culture utilizing urban spaces, spread street performance culture, and contribute to global cultural exchange and tourism.
