About this event

The Mato Arts Festival is Anjeong-ri’s representative cultural and artistic festival, embodying the meaning of "an arts festival held on the last Saturday of the month." It is held under the themes of "Summer Christ-MATO" in June and "Broadway in Anjeong-ri" in October. In particular, the Anjeong-ri Artists' Square in June is decorated with the "Summer Christ-MATO" concept, evoking a snowy Christmas in the middle of summer, and operates as a water-play-centered festival designed to provide a refreshing escape from the sweltering heat. The festival offers participatory content that citizens, foreigners, and visitors alike can enjoy together, featuring play zones for families such as water pools, inflatable bouncy castles, and snow bubble pools, as well as various performances, citizen-participation events, experience booths, and pet programs. Furthermore, through themed experience programs reflecting the theme of each session, large photo zones, and diverse exhibitions and activities held at the Anjeong-ri Artists' Square, the festival presents a special cultural and artistic experience that transcends generations and nationalities.
